    1. At the end of once more bad relationship, Jared, nickname Jaybird, is on despair to be able to find the right girl. And when a tarot card reader tells him that maybe he is not searching in the right place, that he has to go under a drastic change, Jaybird doesn’t exactly understand what she means. From what I understood, Jaybird comes from a very small town in deep Canada, and he has never once considered that maybe he is “different”. He did everything his parents expected from him, and an [...]

    2. 3.5 stars. This is a short story, just 68 pages on my Sony reader, and tells us how Jared came to realize he's gay and how he meets Nicol.Book 1 ends just as Jared gives his answer to Nicol's question as to whether Jared wants to go up to Nicol's apartment. An affirmative from Jared means no turning back. You'll have to read Book 2: Obsidian, to find out what happens after Jared says Yes. Obsidian is twice the length of What You Wish For. When I opened the zip file, I saw that Book is titled '9 o [...]

    3. This is a short story that finds Jared searching for answers to his relationship issues and struggling with his innermost desires. Jared finds himself at a bar after a tarot reading that doesn’t make sense and leaves him confused and disinterested in the information he was given. The reading mostly implies that he can both make great changes and face big truths for great reward or he can continue on the same path he is on and live an unremarkable but satisfying life. Seems like a true statemen [...]

    4. Jared dumps his girlfriend figuring he'll never find a woman. He goes to visit his best friend Jess and his cousin Rox the lesbian tarot card reader is there. They convince him to have his cards read and she kind of freaks him out and says he can find true happiness if he's prepared to make big changes and look at things differently. He kind of freaks and leaves to go to a bar nearby. He starts talking to this Russian guy who is the owner. He's crying on his shoulder about how his ex wanted him [...]

    6. An amusing but not unique in discovering gayness and BDSM. I liked Nicol but thought Jared deserved a good spanking - and not the fun kind either. Also, the location and traveling around the city was odd, mentioned far too often for something not really pertinent to the story.

    7. Ok short m/m romance about a college student who gets a disconcerting tarot reading, just prior to a life-changing event. The conversations were my main reason for not rating this higher - they were awkward and didn't feel realistic.

    8. Hmm, the idea for the story was good but the book was just okay. I especially didn't like how the end was written. This couple is really week, blah
