    1. Indispensable. Really a great way to build a working Homeric vocabulary. Words are arranged in groups according to frequency of occurrence. Highly recommended for anyone wishing to reach the elusive goal of reading Homer at sight.

    2. Great book. However, it bears no principal parts, nor the alternative forms found in Homer. It just lists words in terms of frequency. Instead of this handy volume, I suggest the reader consult the Homeric vocabulary page on Perseus.
