    1. The group is finally really starting to come together. This starts with Keyleth and Tiberius together, Vex and Vax together, and Scanlan and Grog together, but by the end of the issue they are all working together, even if it is just in an attempt to survive the situation they are in at the moment. We're just missing Percy and Pike, and I hope we'll see them by the end of the 6 issue story arc. Oh, and I loved the panels that showed character movements; it was a nice allusion to the fact that th [...]

    2. While this story continues to suffer from me just not caring about the mystery plot itself or any of the incidental characters/NPCs, the "dungeon" maps were a nice touch and plot threads converging in a flashy and amusing way is - as is pointed out by exactly the person you'd expect to point this out - always a classic, and fun to read.

    3. Best One Yet!As a long time Critter (fan of Critical Role) I have wanted to know about the group's Pre-Stream adventures. These comics are that wish fulfilled. Yet, this is the first one to bring the whole team together and what a ride. The other two were literal teases compared to this one. As a player and now Dungeon Master I could see, in this last battle all of the 1st and/or 2nd level spells and skills being used by the team. Also, the idea that they weren't a team originally is astounding! [...]

    4. I really REALLY enjoyed this issue of the comic! Finally the stories and the characters started coming together, and there were some great lines and the dynamics were just oh so familiar and cool and I really love this bunch of idiots and I want more of them. I want so much more of them!!!(I am still holding out hope that they will make an animated series out of their story, not gonna lie. They could start from the very beginning and every player could voice act their own characters and then Matt [...]

    5. This one was great, we finally got to see all the paths cross into one fantastic image for their first team-up moment. Some of the borderline fourth wall humor from Scanlan is a little weird in comic format as opposed to at the table of Critical Role, but it still works.

    6. Leaves you WANTING MORE!Awesome huge fan of the campaign! Matt Colville captures the spirit and characters perfectly! Looking forward the next comic #4!!! Also the fantasy books Matt C. wrote Awesome! Come ON book three!!!

    7. Matt Colville is a writing geniusAll of our hero’s are together and fighting! And Scanlan’s dialogue is fantastic! This is a great read and I’m going to go back and read it a dozen more times.

    8. Love ThisI'm not a comic guy, but this series is making me reconsider how I approach getting a story. I love Critical Role, and this is a fun way to get the missing back story of my favorite characters.

    9. Once again so worth it!!!Omg best way to learn Vox Machina origins!! Keep them coming. waiting game I play is awaiting next part! Thank you !!

    10. I loved the moment of them all getting together and finding out they might all be friends, if they can not kill each other first.

    11. Good bookGets the characters right can completely see this happening great artwork looking on reading more of this story and it progressing

    12. The writing for Scanlan and the twins has to be my absolute favorite. Colville really captures the characters wonderfully.

    13. The first two entries felt more akin to comics in a fantasy setting, but this one started to actually feel like DnD, which for a hopeless loser like myself, is a good thing.

    14. The dialogue between characters remains a delight to read, and it's so easy to hear the cast's voices in my head whenever I read it.

    15. Even better than the first two!Once again, fantastic art and writing! Stories converge and things start heating up for ur-Vox Machina I cannot wait for issue 4!

    16. It Keeps Getting BetterI love the show. And this comic is so well written that I hear the characters' voices as I read it. I'm so glad this is a thing now.

    17. It's pretty goodThe dialog was snappy. Nice references to actual D&D magic. The story just didin't seem to make much progress. I will still buy all of the issues.

    18. The beautiful drawings and exciting story lines continue; it was fun to see Vax and Vex meet Scanlan and Grog, but I am a bit confused about Tiberius and Keyleth.

    19. DeliciousAlways love Colville, this was another great comic. These don't disappoint. You need to read all of them, start at #1.
