    1. I cannot express how much I enjoyed reading this book! It is the first of Emily Kimelman's books that I have read and I will definitely be reading more.First, I loved that this is the third book in a series, but was able to read it as a stand alone novel. There was enough back story told throughout the book so there was no confusion about what repeat characters were discussing about the past.Second, there was not a moment in the book where I felt bored with the story between the action scenes, w [...]

    2. Sydney Rye is a P.I. on the run from a dark past and a dangerous enemy, traveling light with her dog Blue, trying to live down some bad decisions. A dangerous man calls with a job that could win her freedom from her past – free the kidnapped daughter of a Mexican Senator and he makes her real identity go away. Nothing is what it seems, however, and Sydney has a hard time figuring out who to trust.I struggled with this book in the beginning. My reading tastes lean towards cozies, and this is cl [...]

Her life has been shaped by circumstances, but she’s risen above them to –in a large part– take charge of her own life. However, the strong point of this book is the characters. They a [...]

    4. As a big fan of Emily Kimelman's previous two stories in the Sydney Rye series, I read this latest book with pretty high expectations and I was not disappointed. The way Ms. Kimelman describes each of the amazing locations, it really feels like you are there alongside Sydney as she risks her life fighting for right. The mystery is intriguing and kept me turning the pages, all in one sitting. Ms. Kimelman has created a truly memorable heroine to root for- one I hope to see in many more novels to [...]

    5. InsatiableI found this Book totally 'Insatiable'! I could not put the darn thing down! If you enjoy adventure and mystery, you'll love the Sydney Rye series! But start with the first book, Unleashed, then #2, before reading this one. The next book starts up where the previous leaves off. And now, if you'll excuse me, I need to download Book #4!!"Keep up the Good Work, Emily Kimelman!!"

    6. Insatiable (A Sydney Rye Novel #3) — Emily Kimelman (34 chapters) July 4-5, 2017Note: Proceed with caution if violence, sex, mature themes, and F-bombs ain’t your thing. This book is intended for readers 18+.This story starts off a few years (three, maybe?) in the future from where the last book ended. Some of the same characters from the first two are in this one. Some new characters as well. Sydney is now a detective, living in London, and solving cases for the very wealthy.Reading this bo [...]

    7. Insatiable, Sydney Rye #3by Emily KimelmanJoy/Sydney and Blue are back in Mexico and back in action in this 3rd in the series novel. Lured into the venture by Bobby Maxim, who promises to "kill off Joy Humbolt," effectively making her "wanted" status end, if Sydney will just participate in this one job in Mexico. Too bad he wasn't as smart as he thinks he is, and once again Sydney is led into a trap. It will take a joint effort that includes Mulberry, Malina (from #2), Izel, Dan, and yes, even t [...]

    8. My fourth read from author Emily Kimmleman. I'd bought this book back in May of 2013 and never got around to reading it. My mistake! But after reading In Sheep’s Clothing, my third Sydney Rye story I had to go back and read the ones I’d missed out on. A wonderful read. The author takes her time in developing the character and the story but before you realize it you've been hooked and reeled in. Joy Humboldt was not a very likable character as first described in the first book, but as Sydney [...]

    9. [barnes and noble free ebook]This is the third in a series, where Sydney Rye has apparently been transformed from a drifting Brooklyn millennial making a living walking dogs (1st book) to a weaponized, gun toting, private detective. Also much more active sexually than I remember the first. Must have happened in the second book, not available free. Without backstory, who is this woman, why do we care about her interior monologue? There's a mysterious private security operation behind most of what [...]

    10. In this segment of Sydney Rye's life, she has developed her skills to become a detective in London. Drawn back across the sea by promises of true freedom if she allows Bobby Maxium back into her life. He wants her to help his good friends get their daughter back-- if she helps, he will kill off her Joy identity, allowing her to free from prosecution as Sydney Rye-- though she has misgivings she bites and the journey begins. It is a rapidly paced tale of intrigue, betrayal, murder, and the kind o [...]

    11. Joy embraces her new identity as Sydney Rye and she is strong, fierce and independent. She definitely becomes a kickass heroine even if she doesn't consider herself one. With the help of some new friends, she is making a difference in the world and maybe even history depending on where the job takes her. Without a little drama, life can be a bit boring. Action, suspense and even things that go boom are just a few things to look forward to so buckle up and hang on!

    12. Wow! I really love Sydney Rye - she is definitely a take no prisoners kind of girl. Like the first two books, this one was action packed and a real page turner. There were so many twists and turns that even at the end I was still trying to figure out who Sydney can trust, aside from Blue. I absolutely loved this book.

    13. I am so glad that I got this as a boxed set. After reading the first three books in this series I was hooked. I have been unable to put these down. If you like suspense and twists and turns, you will love these books. On to #7! I can't wait!

    14. This book was a surprise. I obtained it through Netgallery and frankly, did not expect much. It is the third in a series, but can be read as a stand alone. That said, I have already downloaded the first two of the series.

    15. I picked this book up to read, and even though I jumped into the middle of the series, enough detail was given to catch one up to speed with the characters.

    16. Having recently read Unleashed I was anxious to read Insatiable. This story did not disappoint. There was a couple of times I realized I was holding my breath worried that Sydney wouldn't make it out of the situation she had gotten into. This story wasn't the emotional roller coaster that Unleashed was for me but it kept me on edge. Although you can read the books out of sequence, I would recommend reading Unleashed first to get the full background story of how and why Joy Hombolt became Sydney [...]

    17. Intriguing story! Great series!I loved Insatiable. It was a roller coaster of a read with very surprising curves. I recommend you begin with #1 and read right through. I am continuing onto #4 now. Sidney Rye is a great character, personality flaws and all. Recommended

    18. I had not realized that I was reading the third book in series until after I had read a couple of chapters. The first few chapters did a nice job summarizing Sydney’s back story and why she was where she was. To be honest, after finishing the book, I did not feel like I needed to read the first and second book to understand the story.I really don’t like convenience in a story (Sydney’s bank account in the Caymans or the private jet she had access to), but because I didn’t read the first [...]

    19. I enjoyed the book enough to download 4 - 6. The only question I have is how, toward the end, the ping pong table became a pool table.

    20. Sydney Rye is enjoying a relatively quiet time with Carlos in London when she get a call from Bobby Maxim. Bobby’s firm set Joy up as Sydney and as such, Bobby’s calling in his marker. He’s sending her to Mexico City along with his operative, Blane Nichols, to find a missing girl. Not just any missing girl, but Ana Maria Hernandez Vargas, the daughter of two pretty powerful and wealthy people. Sydney quickly learns things aren’t as clean-cut as they seem as she’s forced to call on frie [...]

    21. Sydney Rye, a London-based private investigator, wants to be free of her past. When a dangerous man from that past approaches her with a job, rescue the daughter of a powerful Mexican businessman and his politician wife, her first instinct is to refuse. But, he offers to pay her with what she really wants more than anything else in the world—finally to put the past away forever. Once she arrives in Mexico, however, her partner turns on her, and the kidnap victim turns out to be something else [...]

    22. Sydney Rye is back in action! I truly enjoyed this book despite being a bit confused in the beginning as I tried to recollect who all the characters were from the first book (I haven't read the novella marked as #2 in this series). To me it seemed that Sydney is trying to distance herself from her former life. She is trying to block it all out and just be Sydney. Of course a mental health expert would likely advise against it and that it will undoubtedly crop up in the future at the worst time p [...]

    23. With this third of the Sydney Rye series, we are back into real action!I enjoyed reading this book as much as I did "Unleashed", the first of the series. It doesn't take long for Sydney Rye to become bored of her drinking and chilling state and Mulberry doesn't have to persuade her very long to get her interested in a new investigation job.The goal: get Ana Maria back to her parents. For this assignment, Sydney has to play a role, as wife of another agent to search for the daughter in Mexico. Th [...]

    24. Insatiable by Emily Kimelman brings us back to Sydney Rye currently living in London, working as a detective with Mulberry. Unbelievably Sydney receives a call from the past, Bobby Maxim asking for a favor, a girl has been abducted and needs her help. Not trusting Maxim, Sydney is roped into finding the girl in exchange for his help killing off, on paper, her original self Joy Humboldt. Still not trusting Maxim and forced to work with one of his company's men, Sydney is soon thrust into another [...]

    25. This book was so poor I wonder why I finished it. Perhaps I thought it might get better and by the time I realized it wouldn't I had enough time invested that I wanted to find out 'whodunnit'. I would guess that it was self-published and without the benefit of a friend to act as editor. There were numerous spelling and grammatical mistakes and even words left out of sentences. As far as whether or not it was believable I can't really say as I have never been a private investigator or belonged to [...]

    26. I enjoyed parts of this book but I just wish Sydney was a bit less pathetic and a bit more ‘kickass’. At times there is just too much introspection and whinging about her previous life and then there are the number of times she comes second best to even the most pathetic villains. She is described as a strong female protagonist in the introductory blurb but she isn’t really that strong, when it comes to dealing with bad guys she is just not ruthless enough, she allows people to come back a [...]

    27. After her close escape in Death In The Dark, Mulberry sends Sydney and Blue to London for further training as a private detective and to keep her out of trouble. When she gets a call from Robert Maxim, a man from Sydney’s past asking for help finding a friends daughter he makes her an offer she can’t refuse. She heads to Mexico and joins up with one of Robert Maxim’s men to find the girl. But nothing in Sydney’s life is easy and she is having problems trying to figure out who to trust. A [...]

    28. Not sure exactly what Sydney Rye is other than rich from an event in an earlier novel and a one time investigator/security person for a large company whose Boss she is not sure she trusts. For that matter she doesn’t trust too many people except for some of the internet fans of a website devoted to her previous identity that is wanted for murder. Convinced to travel to Mexico with a fellow investigator to find the missing daughter of a rich and important family, she find the practically nothin [...]

    29. I received a free copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review. This is book 3 of the Sydney Rye series. Sydney Rye is on a dangerous mission to find a missing girl. She’s unsure of who she can trust as she seeks help from friends old and new. Emily Kimelman does an extraordinary job once again drawing us in to her dark mystery. This novel is a perpetual thrill ride, and page turner with great believable characters, location descriptions so realistic that you feel like you’re there. T [...]
