    1. A light hearted and entertaining read. Kate is a wedding photographer struggling to keep her business afloat and dodgy experiences with men. She is trying to avoid men, which obviously means she is going to encounter a man or two. Kate has a bubbly personality which belies the problems she is facing. She is justifiably struggling to get on with her sister, and has debt issues. With so much on her plate, it's good to see that she has the strength of character to handle it. A quick and easy read t [...]

    2. What an incredibly enjoyable story. Four Weddings and a Fiasco has come just in time for the summer wedding season, and it takes that idea and expands on it in an entertaining way. And its not all light hearted either, there are a few more serious themes running through the book too, such as debt, charlatans and sisters that haven't spoken for two years. Katy is a wedding photographer that is trying to get her business back on track, and trying to stay clear of men too. So of course when very ea [...]

    3. This was a very enjoyable, entertaining, feel good romantic comedy - absolutely perfect for the summer! As the title suggests, this is a story about four weddings and a fiasco! Katy Peacock runs her own business as a successful, hardworking wedding photographer. She makes her money from snapping away at everyone else's big day, capturing the drama, the tears, the happiness and ultimately the love, from the couple's big day. But behind her fun loving facade, Katy is full of her own troubles. First [...]

    4. 'She laughs when things are funny. And she laughs when things really aren't funny in the slightest - like when she confided in me that her granny couldn't be at the wedding because she was in rehab getting treatment for sex addiction'. A funny, witty, easy read. Everyone loves a wedding and this book follows four of them. It's a nice read with some interesting character developments. I'd recommend this book for those who are fans of chick-lit, and anyone after a book you can sit and read in the [...]

My initial thoughts when I saw the cover was that this is going to be one of my fave spring/summer reads. Yes, I do judge books on covers and no matter what anyone else says, so far my intuition has never been wrong. This indeed was a brilliant, light hearted, uber fun book perfec [...]

    6. I love Catherine Ferguson - her debut novel Humbugs & Heartstrings was one of my absolute favourite reads a while ago, and while I haven't gotten around to her other two books, I know that they're there when I need my fix of Catherine again! Four Weddings And A Fiasco is Catherine's first foray into paperbacks (and well deserved it is, too, although I now want her other three in paperback, please, Avon) and it's thoroughly entertaining, as Katy Peacock lives quite the life. The most ironic th [...]

    7. I happily accepted this book for an honest review, I have to say what a stunning cover, it really is very pretty. I hadn't heard of Catherine Ferguson before but this story seemed my cup of tea and I felt it was a bit different as the main character Katy is a photographer. I found the story very enjoyable and warmed to Katy straight away, there were some quite funny moments which I felt made it a light hearted read. I will be looking out for more of Catherine Ferguson's books as this one was rea [...]

    8. A very slow read that didn't quite pull me in as much as I wanted it to, saved by a gorgeous cover. There was very little credibility and none of the fun that factor that makes a chick lit delicious. Even resident hottie Gabe was a bit of a bore, and his back story a bit droll. If you like endings that wrap up a little too perfectly, then this one is for you.Just not for me. Can I keep that cover though?

    9. Not as funny as I usually like my chicklits but it was still such an interesting read. Katy's past is kept mysterious and intriguing so you're hooked to know what happened to land her in this mess, plus there's also the weird stuff going on with some of the other characters. And the best part? Gabe Harlin, of course.

    10. This book lost my interest & failed to regain it. I hate leaving books half read but I just couldn’t get into this book enough to keep reading it. Giving this 2 stars instead of 1, because despite not being a page-turning, the writing wasn’t terrible (I’ve attempted to read worseaka ‘Fifty Shades’)

    11. It's a very light and fluffy read. I am not used to such light reading but there were plenty of interesting characters being introduced and the story was alright.

    12. Time to put your dancing shoes on as it’s TWG’s stop on the ‘Four Weddings and a Fiasco’ blog tour!! A big thank you to Harpercollins publishing for inviting me onto the tour; the cover alone caught my eye before I received the invitation, so I was rather excited when my e-mail notification pinged to tell me that I had the opportunity to be involved with a book I was very eager to read! It most certainly didn’t disappoint either!Katy Peacock hasn’t been lucky in love in the past. She [...]

    13. I met the author Catherine Ferguson recently when lots of authors and bloggers got together in Edinburgh. At the time I was just about to start this book about Katy Peacock, a wedding photographer. So I suppose it's quite ironic that the only photos I have of Catherine seem to be of her back! I'd never make a wedding photographer that's for sure! The photographer at a wedding has such a crucial role making sure they get all the best shots to capture the memories of the day while trying to be uno [...]

    14. Down to earth relationship storyKaty is a very troubled character who eventually funds herself allowing people into Her life which help her through each twat and turn.

    15. About the book:Katy Peacock lives a life as colourful as her name.As a wedding photographer, she spends her days making other people smile as she captures all sorts of fun and capers at celebrations that range from the wacky to the wild. But her own life isn’t looking quite so rosy. Her mum is acting out of character, her menacing ex is back on the scene, and she is torn between two gorgeous men. And that’s before we even get started on the trouble her sister is causing . . .As Katy weathers [...]

    18. *** 4.5 out of 5 stars ***An enjoyable read, in fact, a pretty good summer read and one you could happily pack with your luggage to read when you're away on a break. Katy Peacock is a wedding photographer in a lovely little village, but after a bad fall out with her sister two years ago she is finding it hard to manage her photography business alone. She's also trying desperately to steer clear of men, so when she falls into the arms of a gorgeous man after trying to climb over her fence, the re [...]

    19. Katy Peacock is struggling. After a major fall out with her sister, she is finding her debts are mounting, her wedding photography business is demanding and her ex-boyfriend Dominic is threatening.I have a confession. I did not like the title Four Weddings and a Fiasco and probably would not have read it had I not received it for review. Had that been the case I would have missed out on a lovely entertaining story that brought me considerable pleasure.I thoroughly enjoyed Four Weddings and a Fia [...]

    20. This is a fairly light, easy and enjoyable read. Katy Peacock is a wedding photographer that is at a rough patch in her life. She's had a falling out with her beloved sister and is having financial troubles as she tries to keep her business going.I liked Katy and the whole cast of characters we're introduced to. Katy is floundering a bit in her professional and personal life, but I loved the fact that she isn't bitter or feeling too sorry for herself. She still enjoys her work and is always will [...]

    21. Katy Peacock is a wedding photographer who is struggling to keep her business afloat due to the fact that her sister abandoned her leaving her to pay off the loans they took out jointly to set it up. To make things worse her mum is starting to act very weirdly and her ex, who she also owes money to is stalking her and threatening her if she doesn't pay him back.Katy is totally oblivious to what is going on in the world and so when she literally bumps into a very fit man who is out running she ha [...]

    22. This review was first published at M's Bookshelf - mssbookshelfFour Weddings & A Fiasco is as fun and entertaining as you'd expect from both title and cover. With a main character that photographs weddings for a living, you just know you're in for a treat: lots of wedding disasters, drunk guests, fun bridal parties and romantic moments. And that sums up both Katy's experiences and the "vibe" of the book perfectly. It was a joy to read.I can't wait to research a photographer for my own weddin [...]
