    1. Rita Lee Chapman's 'Dangerous Associations' is well titled. It's a crime mystery thriller about a woman whose first husband's exploits are wreaking havoc with her new life. Though unaware of her ex-husband's activities, she is considered complicit by association. I like the way Ms. Chapman thoroughly tied up all loose ends - both from the protagonist's point of view, as well as the antagonist's, an interesting twist. The downside: 'Dangerous Associations' would benefit from a good editor. Had it [...]

    2. From the moment I started reading Rita Lee Chapman's novel "Dangerous Associations," I was pulled into it. The writing is very descriptive and well written and well organized. Cathy Thompson the main character is described very well into the plot. The fantastic imagery of this character's life is as stunning as the plot twists and turns of the novel. Superbly done!

    4. This book is well-written, with a plot that's both believable and moves at a nice pace for the genre. The characters are well-rounded, and the main character is someone easy to like and sympathize with. I should warn you though that the book contains scenes which some readers may find upsetting.
