    1. 2.5 starsEvery single bit of those stars were because it was surprise mpreg and surprise knotting and the fact that even though this was Lynn Hagen's worst story to date I just HAD to finish it and I am compelled to read the next one.I may need an intervention.

    2. I liked this well enough but the book just ends. By that I mean, the second to the last chapter Things Happen. Then we turn the page and start the last chapter and it has skipped ahead four weeks, through Things Happening and The Aftermath of Things Happening, so we don't get to see any it. It felt like the author just got tired at the second to the last chapter and said "Oh, I think I'll just skip ahead and do a quick wrap up."*peeved* In my opinion (which means nothing to anyone but you are ge [...]

    3. 2.5 Stars no rounding up. Nice story, decent characters, but what is it with the endings now a days. The characters story has no wrap up. It's un-satisfying and disappointing and this is the second author I've come across in as many months that have books like this.

    4. Pretty darn action packed so no complaints on that end.Although I didn't feel like these two's relationship was given a great foundation. Not rock solid. And I would have to say major complaint about how easy the story behind this group of assassins turned out to be. Easy is probably not the word I would go with but the first that came to mind. I mean, really? Long lost blow Joe whose family just happens to be in the right place at the right time? And to portray mentor has an evil bastard aura a [...]

    5. The book is very nice, but it has it's flaws. There's no wonder most of the empires on earth crashed or disbanded or something like that. What briliant extra-ultra-secret-idiot working for the empire kidnaps some five children, trains them to become the most fearsome of assassins of the universe and doesn't even change their names. They could have came with a pedigree.Everything else worked just fine with me: comedy, drama, friendship, a lost family too easily accepted etcetera etcetera

    6. The blurb sets the story up well so I won't restate it.I enjoyed this. It had a bit of a "Star Wars" feel but not in a negative way. A quick read, the book sets the foundation for the series without getting bogged down with too much world building. Oh, and I should mention. There's some of this nsfw [image error], and knotting, and that pesky male pregnancy thing. This was a fun read and I'll definitely pick up the next book.

    7. This so should have been an awesome book. It has all my guilty pleasure hot buttons. Shifters, space, mpreg, knotting, big alpha/small mate. All that potential, and absolutely lacking on delivery. First of all, I this is Lynn Hagen. There should have been a hell of a lot more smut than a few fizzled love scenes. The characters were underdeveloped, the plot less than interesting. The makings of a really good hot exciting read were there, but completely not delivered on. I might read the 2nd book [...]

    8. This actually turned out a lot differently than I was expecting. For one, there was a lot more action and way less sexy times but I was perfectly fine with that. I do wish i had seen more of the relationship between the two main characters since it felt like that was almost an after thought though. Despite there being a lot going on, however, I did like it and there were a ton of unanswered questions left for the rest of the series to explore.

    9. This book was just ok to be honest. It was super short and 90% of it wasn't abt the couple. I wanted more scenes with Jade and Kayden. I don't like it when books focus more on the background info/story than the couple the book is supposed to be about. Maybe the next book will be better. But I felt a little ripped off.

    10. Tasting the Forbidden [Breed Assassins 1]Tasting the Forbidden [Breed Assassins 1]I didn't think I would like it but it was great and i will be waiting for the next one hope it's soon

    11. It was a nice read, just not very innovative or even well written. A little something to kill free time.
