    1. I love this story. Third time I've read it! It's short and sweet and touching but I wish I knew more about the characters - particularly what happens to a couple of them. I like the set up with the car journey, the little posters (though I suspect the chances of doing that are a bit remote), and I liked the final twist- the confession from Jude. Although in many ways it's a light read, the heart of it very sad and my reason for the dropped star is that I'd have liked a book twice this length to [...]

    2. Basically, Lucy picks up a stranger in a snow-bound airport thinking they'll never meet again but guess what? This didn't live up to expectations, easily read in a couple of hours. easily forgotten

    3. Reviewed by Lissa Staley Posted December 11, 2006Romance Contemporary Lucy Blue lost herself in her relationship with an overbearing boyfriend. Although Teddy was just a summer romance, she postpones breaking up with him until the Christmas holidays and he doesn't take the news well. Lucy tries to escape for awhile, but the New Year's party she crashes in Scotland is a bust and she wants to go home to London. Her plans change when a snowstorm grounds her plane and she finds herself sharing her r [...]

    4. A slightly more somber chick lit but one that, when it gets past it's slightly slow start, is a compelling read that I did not want to put down.Imagine this: you're stuck with a handsome man in a car, for 13 hours, decide to do the unusual (yes, have a fling), and after doing the mature thing and walking away, you find your name plastered over posters at your station. But instead of him looking for you, despite what you promised each other, it's his also very handsome brother looking for you

    5. Hardwood took some interesting personalities, some challenging situations and a lot of bad weather and created a humorous, yet touching story. While some of the situations were far-fetched, they were made believable by the characters and their reactions to them. Hardwood made me laugh out loud at times, and groan in despair at others.I would be interested to hear more about both Jane and Jude (not neccessarily together though).

    6. This is a good choice for in-between deeper reads. It's quick, easy, and fun. The plot's not great and the characters are not consistentI gave it three stars mainly because I didn't want to put it down until I had finished it!

    7. picked up this book in a house in zagreb- read the first chapter and bought in the US- I felt right in the car with the character, having romantic adventures with strange boys.

    8. I read this book two times and my first impression was over and over again with this chick-lit. But the second time was a bit flat. I can only add that maybe I expected too much.

    9. The story was cute very slow at the beginning but rushed at the end. It was like the author was fed up of writing it or had reached the maximum word count.

    10. Funny and sweet story about a woman who is much sought after as a rescue package by the family of a destroyed soul.
