    1. Provides an introduction into a few different methods of meditation. I listened to it - distracted by other activities. But it's worth saving and using to find a starting place for my own meditation practice. It seems most useful to beginners.

    2. Different types of meditations are there to create different results. I listen to this while cleaning the house like a study aid into meditation. I will work on being still later today.

    3. Listened to this on audio. A good introduction for the beginning meditator or someone who is just curious.

    4. I've read many books on meditation and while this was sufficient, there are many others that are far better. The author does a good job explaining fundamentals of the meditations (five of them) he offers, but many times I found myself wishing he had included more information. For example, in his teaching on the mantra om mani padme hum, I wished he would discuss what those words or vowels mean.     6. I have never been into meditation, so I thought that I would give this one a try. While I did appreciate the basic overview, I would have liked a bit more of the reasoning why someone should try it. However, I felt like I was just being told to try it, without justification.
