    1. There are sections where Fox is on fire. His thesis, that because humanity spent way more time in tribes, as opposed to alternate social orders and that we carry that legacy, is brilliant. However, his digressions into (his own) poetry exemplify the problem of operating in a society that, like, doesn't, like, care about culture. If culture means 60 page breakdowns of relatively insignificant poets featuring extended quoting of them, then I am starting to understand why people under 30 are, like, [...]
