    1. Werewives, they are rich, live in posh communities and get furry with the moonThese are urban fantasy and not romances for the most part, I liked Ivy's story the best by far ( and gave the whole shebang an extra half star for her story), Fox's was prettty good and the other two were just ok.Where Darkness Lives, a Guardian's of Darkness connected short by Alexandra Ivy – Sophia is more than capable of taking care of herself but when threats against her escalate, her unwanted – and sexy and v [...]

    2. Alexandra Ivy story onlyI got this book solely for the Alexandra Ivy story as I am a huge fan of the Guardians series.I really liked the story and would have preferred it to be longer but then that is because I do love the series and just want to read more. However I did find Sophia's character to be strange. In previous books Sophia has always been portrayed to be a nasty self serving slut and now all of a sudden she is almost being portrayed as sweet and picky about her men which is really wei [...]

    3. The common theme to this anthology was well to do were-women. Alexandra Ivy had the strongest female lead of the collection, as well as the best structured plot with her story, Where Darkness Lives.Tami Dane’s Werewolves In Chic Clothing was good, although I was expecting a bigger surprise ending. Murder on Mysteria Lane by Angie Fox might have been better if the story was longer. And I’m sorry, but Jess Haines What’s Yours Is Mine was pointless to read with such a weak storyline.

    4. This review was posted at Under The CoversI love the title of this book! This was such a fun anthology, and even though I don't follow the series, if any, I was able to have enjoy and maybe be more into trying out the actual series. That's what anthologies are meant to do, right?"Where Darkness Lives" by Alexandra Ivy - 5 StarsI've only read one other novella in the Guardians of Eternity series and I didn't enjoy it as much as this one. This story rocked! And yes, it's my favorite in the whole a [...]

    5. demonloversbooksandmoreWhat a fun anthology! I'll break it down into the 4 novellas for you guys:"Where Darkness Lies" by Alexandra Ivy-5 flamesMy favorite in the anthology. Sophia is the biggest bitch of them all, if any of you have read Alexandra Ivy's Guardians of Darkness series. She's a fun heroine who has just opened up a strip club for the ladies ;) Hottest male weres around. But unfortunately she's being attacked. She hires a bodyguard who isn't what he seems, and might be her mate. "Mur [...]

    6. Only read the Alexandra Ivy story so far.4 StarsWhere Darkness LiesWhilst the quads mother, Sophia, is a strong werewolf, she is being targeted and decides a bodyguard is a good idea, rather than moving in with her son-in-law, the King of the Weres, Salvatore. Her mate shows up for the job, but neither of them is prepared to believe it, or want it.

    7. Drama. Scandal. Secrets. And a whole lot of supernatural goings-on.I'm Pureblood Were, And Proud Of It. . . 8. When done well, a tongue-in-cheek paranormal romance can be both laugh out loud funny and über sexy in the same instance. Kensington put together four great examples of this type of writing in 'The Real Werewives of Vampire County.' With heavy hitters like Alexandra Ivy's 'Where Darkness Lives' you won't be disappointed with this anthology. The only author I had read before was Ivy and now I have three new authors to "catch up with."'Where Darkness Lives' by Alexandra IvyA tiny addition to her [...]

    10. Review courtesy of All Things Urban Fantasy"Where Darkness Lives" by Alexandra Ivy (Guardians of Eternity #7.6)I’m not fully versed in the Guardians of Eternity series, but this novella feels very much like it’s connected to other stories with numerous character references and plotlines that aren’t included here. Not that the story is confusing, it’s not. The story is about werewolf Sophia, prized among her community for her fertility (she has four full grown daughters who I’m guessing [...]

    11. This book has four anthologies in it. It’s theme is The Stepford Wives or Wives of Orange County, which is a bunch of rich women who think they are all that and that they must have the latest fashion. As for The Real Werewives of Vampire County, to me it is not worth buying. I suggest borrowing from the library if you want to try it out. I only picked this one up for Alexandra Ivy’s novella, since I’m enjoy her Guardians of Eternity series. I did try to read the others and you can see my in [...]

    12. "Where Darkness Lives" by Alexandra Ivy (Guardians of Eternity #7.6)A good story"Murder on Mysteria Lane" by Angie FoxFunny story but too short, i want a serie with Heather and Lucien !"Werewolves in Chic Clothing" by Tami DaneA little boring mystery"What's Yours is Mine" by Jess HainesCan’t finish :(

    13. The only redeeming short story in this anthology was Alexandra Ivy's. The rest of the stories irritated me to no end, and I wanted to slap the other women in the other short stories. If not for Ms. Ivy's SS being included (I give it 4 stars), I would have given this book 1 star. I would not recommend buying this book - just get it at the library and only read Ivy's SS.

    14. I received The Real Werewives of Vampire County from the fantabulous Jess Haines (thanks, Jess), and couldn’t resist the quirky charm and humor of these upper-class denizens of the supernatural world.Where Darkness Lives by Alexandra Ivy – No one’s more surprised than Sophia when she’s struck by an unfamiliar maternal urge to move near her daughters. But instead of being greeted by a welcome committee, she’s targeted by kidnappers…and saddled with a gorgeous bodyguard on a mission to [...]

    15. this book is interesting to me because it has about 4 stories in this one book. each story is about a different thing of course its about werewolves and vampires.

    17. Where Darkness Lives by Alexandra IvyFavorite Line: "It's all that testosterone rotting your brain." (p. 28)If you are unfamiliar with Alexandra Ivy's Guardian's of Eternity series you may have difficulty connecting to the characters in Where Darkness Lives. Four of the key characters in the Guardian's of Eternity series are Sophia's (the heroine of Where Darkness Lives) daughters. I've read most of the eight full length books and one of the two (other) anthologies set in the Guardian world, and [...]

    18. Where Darkness Lives – Alexandra Ivy. Sophia is a revered among the werewolves. She was one of the few females in the past centuries able to bear children. 22. This was an ok anthology. Some of the stories I really liked others I thought were very boring. I good read if you are interested in the genre.

    24. Those who know me will probably be able to guess I wanted to read this book because it has a story by Jess Haines. Luckily her story wasn't the only gem in this anthology.I will give my thoughts about each of the 4 stories."Where Darkness Lives" by Alexandra IvyI strongly disliked Sophia, the lead character. The plot was largely evolving around a romance and not liking one of the two people involved in the romance isn't a good thing I think. So this story didn't work for me. Maybe I should try s [...]

    25. Since there is four authors here, two new-to-me and two familiar, I always read my favorite author first. That would be Angie Fox. Hearing the basis about the story left me a bit hesitant. This is quite the departure from her Demon Slayer books, and yes, vampires really are not a "favorite" of mine. However, like with the Demon Slayer books, Angie never lost her unique, fun humor voice. Heather, the main heroine is a were-wolf, and she was down-right humerous and FUN! All that I associate with A [...]

    26. anthology of 4 stories dealing with female were-wolves and those they are involved with. The Ivy story is set in the Guardians of Eternity world, I will admit to not having read any, but will be checking them out after this story. The Fox story is a comedy-murder mystery. Since I've read her Demon Slayer books, I had high hopes for this one and she didn't fail to make me lol. The Haines story is another mystery. A nice normal girl meets a charming man via a web match-making-site. She moves down [...]

    27. This book is actually four short stories by four different authors. Though they didnt join up or cross over, they all had Werewolves that were females, and its perfectly normal for them to be married/dating a vampireThe first is about a very powerful Were who has four daughters in very high places (through their husbands) when things get dangerous they all need to go underground, but who can make a strong independant were do that? Instead she gets a bodyguardought things dont stay professional f [...]

    28. The Real Werewives of Vampire County by Alexandra Ivy, Angie Fox , Tawny Taylor, and Jess Haines Come on with a title like that you know I just had to get it. Where Darkness Lives by Alexandra Ivy takes place in the world of her Guardians of Eternity series which I admit I’ve not read. I enjoyed the story but would probably have gotten more out of it if I had read the series. Murder on Mysteria Lane by Angie Fox was the other reason for me buying this book. I LOVE Ms. Fox’s Demon Slayer book [...]
